Custom API's

Everything and everyone in the world are increasingly connected. How does this happen? How does data get from one place to another? How do different applications and devices communicate with each other to achieve things? We do this with API's.

An API (Application Programming Interface) enables communication and information exchange between different (software) systems. In this case, this would mean that MaNima Technologies devices could be programmed with a custom API. This API is specially tuned in to your needs and application.

API’s take care of all interactions between applications, data and devices. They enable the transfer of data from system to system. APIs provide standardized access to any application data or devices.

An API uses a small portion of the code from the original program. This code allows your system to make specific requests to MaNima devices. The external questions are translated by the API into code that the application can use. The API then sends the answer to the question back to your system.

For example:

A machine goes through various stages. By placing digital LED lighting in this machine and connecting it to one of the MaNima Technologies interfaces, this LED lighting can be controlled. The machine system can communicate with the MaNima interface by means of customized APIs. The machine informs the MaNima interface that it will change phase. The MaNima interface receives this and will then adjust the color of the LED lighting as soon as the phase changes. This custom API allows the MaNima interface to receive a message from the machine system, whereby the MaNima interface controls the LED lighting according to the wishes of the machine system.
