he MaNima Extensa is the transmitting end of a differential link that carries digital LED data across an industrial site. It takes up to six single-ended data ports from a MaNima Magnus or Pollux and drives them onto shielded CAT6 cable over shielded RJ45 connectors, reaching 100 m per run — where the single-ended lines those drivers output are measured in a few meters before noise becomes the limiting factor.
The link is differential, so interference that reaches both conductors of a pair cancels out instead of corrupting the data. What the installation still lets through is absorbed by long-line protection on every device in the chain: 8 kV contact and 15 kV air ESD to IEC 61000-4-2, 2 kV EFT to IEC 61000-4-4, and 1 kV surge to IEC 61000-4-5. That matters because a corrupted LED dataline does not fail cleanly — it presents as a flickering fixture, which is diagnosed as a fixture fault long before anyone suspects the cable.
Each cable carries three datalines plus supply and ground, and the six inputs are distributed across six RJ45 outputs in a fixed, deliberately overlapping map. Choosing outputs on purpose is what lets six fixtures run over two cables instead of six. The mapping is printed above every socket, so the choice is made at the enclosure rather than from a drawing.
There is no software. Six DIP switches, reachable without opening the enclosure, set per port whether it carries LED data or an analog NTC signal — so the same cable that drives a remote fixture can also bring its temperature back to the driver.

Selection notes
Pair the Extensa with a Tricepta where three fixtures sit together and you want them fed from one cable, or where an external NTC has to be connected. Pair it with a Recepta where space is tight and one dataline per location is enough.
Not included: cabling, RJ45 connectors, UTP splitters, power supplies and NTC sensors. The Extensa can share the supply of the Magnus or Pollux it sits beside.
